Frequently asked questions about our VoIP phone services and Managed IT Services

Do you offer solutions for fax?

Absolutely! Let’s face it, fax is not going away anytime soon

We offer fax to email, web faxing, and HIPAA compliant faxing for secure document faxing.

The VoIP phone systems that we offer also have built-in fax capabilities.

What is a better option for multiple locations?

In the past, connecting multiple locations with a VPN or MPLS was the way to go.  That was in the past!  Now all phones can securely connect to the Triton Cloud PBX no matter where users are located.  Voice and SIP connections are encrypted.  Work from home, the road, your garage, it doesn’t matter.  As long as you have a decent connection you are making and receiving phone calls.

Zultys provides a built-in SBC for remote phone deployments across different locations.  As well as voice and SIP encryption.  Zultys is also HIPAA compliant.

Are there long-term contracts?

Not here!  Pay as you go.  Need more lines, no problem.  Need to get rid of a few, no problem.  Pay only for what you need.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club payments.  We also accept PayPal.  Our merchant payment processor for credit cards is Stripe.  All transactions are encrypted and card information is not stored in our servers.

What about warranty?

All products that have been purchased through tritonvoip.cloud come with a 1-year or 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.   The length of time will vary by manufacturer.  We also offer a no-questions asked supplemental replacement plans for all products.  We know how difficult it is to call, get a label, ship a product, and then wait for the return.  If the product is covered by Triton VoIP, we will ship a new unit via 2-day air directly to you.  Simply provide the MAC address of the failed and covered device

Do I need QoS (quality of service)?

Yes, but this will vary with the internet usage in your office or home. Take a speed test on our site to test the quality of your internet connection: VOIP Speed Test

What do I need to connect my phone?

If you are using a desk phone you will require a PoE switch that will provide data and power.  If you do not have a PoE switch, you will need an AC wall adaptor for your phone.  A desk phone requires a hard-wired data connection. We also have wireless capable desk phones.

Your new phone comes with a built-in switch that will connect your phone to your local network and provides a second port to connect to your computer or laptop.

What happens to my calls if the internet/power goes down?

Your system will continue to operate as normal in the background since we host our platform in a secure cloud environment.  We can direct calls to mobile devices and that will allow you to make and receive calls from your own phone number.  Some clients forward calls to a pre-recorded voicemail and others take calls from their mobile devices.   We can set up a contingency plan with you.

What if we already have SIP based phones?

Most SIP-based phones will work with the Triton Neptune platform.  Some phones are locked by certain providers so make sure they are unlocked before transferring.  We support many phones like Cisco, Yealink, Polycom, Snom, Grandstream, and many more…  In most cases you can keep your existing phones and we will handle connecting you to the Triton Neptune platform.

Do you offer a return policy?

Yes.  We offer a 30-day return policy on physical products.  You must obtain an RMA # from our staff prior to the return.  All original items that came with the product must be returned along with the original packaging. Some digital goods are non-refundable due to their nature.  Examples of digital goods are a license or a piece of software.

What do I have to do to make our phones work?

Nothing! Well, not entirely true.  You do have to un-package the phone and connect it to a hard-wired data connection.  We also offer Wi-Fi enabled phones that can connect to your corporate WiFi.  You will require an AC wall adaptor if you go this route.  All phones ship pre-configured from our warehouses for a plug and play setup.
